IDR is seeking a Sr Accountant to join one of our top clients in Dallas, TX. Position Overview/Responsibilities for the Sr Accountant:
– Participate in all function-based accounting activities including revenue deferrals, selling expenses, G&A expenses, and marketing. – Perform month-end close duties accurately and timely, including recording/approving journal entries and performing variance analysis. – Prepare and review reconciliations for various balance sheet accounts, ensuring their accuracy. – Ensure compliance with GAAP and IFRS accounting requirements, as well as Sarbanes-Oxley regulations. – Work directly with internal and external auditors to ensure successful and timely completion of internal audits and quarterly/annual reviews. – Proactively identify and implement process improvements as necessary. – Complete special project work as assigned.

Required Skills for Sr Accountant:
– Involvement in GL close process. – Proficiency in SAP and ability to work within 2 different SAP systems. – Strong skills in MS Excel and Word. – Accounting or Finance degree with 3-5 years of experience.

Preferred Qualifications:
– CPA certification. – Experience with MBS.
