Our client, a boutique law firm located in Manheim, PA is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Estate and Trust Administration Paralegal to join their team. This role requires exceptional organizational skills, the ability to make informed decisions independently, and a dedication to follow through. The ideal candidate will manage documentation, filing, and client communication with precision while quickly adapting to new systems and processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Document Management and Filing:
    • Accurately prepare and file legal documents for estate planning, trust administration, and probate cases through computerized filing systems.
    • Maintain organized digital and physical records to ensure all client files are up-to-date and easily accessible.
  2. Decision-Making and Execution:
    • Evaluate tasks and prioritize actions to achieve timely and accurate completion.
    • Make sound decisions related to filing deadlines, procedural requirements, and client needs, ensuring follow-through from start to finish.
  3. Adaptability and Learning:
    • Quickly learn and navigate legal software, case management systems, and firm-specific protocols.
    • Stay updated on estate and trust law to ensure compliance with legal standards and best practices.
  4. Client and Team Support:
    • Communicate with attorneys, clients, and external parties to gather necessary information and ensure smooth case management.
    • Provide status updates to clients while maintaining professionalism and confidentiality.
  5. Attention to Detail:
    • Review and verify the accuracy of all documentation, ensuring compliance with legal requirements and firm protocols.
    • Track and manage multiple tasks and deadlines, demonstrating strong organizational skills.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Paralegal Studies or a related field. A Paralegal Certificate is preferred.
  • Experience: At least 1 year of paralegal experience in estate and trust law.

LENGTH OF ASSIGNMENT: Temp-Hire
START DATE: ASAP (pending interviews)
PAY RATE: $25-$28/hr.
HOURS: M-TH 8-5pm, Fri. 8am-3pm
DRESS CODE: Business Casual
