Overview
TriStarr's client is seeking a senior-level Project Manager for their industrial/commercial construction company located in York, PA. This individual will oversee all phases of construction projects, ensuring smooth execution from planning through close-out. They will collaborate with project owners, architects, engineers, subcontractors, suppliers, and the field team to deliver successful results while maintaining strong professional relationships.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage project scheduling, budgeting, and execution while coordinating with all stakeholders.
- Oversee subcontract and purchase order development, and ensure timely delivery of materials.
- Lead weekly job site visits, safety monitoring, and progress evaluations.
- Facilitate communication between the field team and subcontractors to address project changes and clarifications.
- Control project costs, submit progress billings, and track cash flow.
- Organize pre-job conferences, weekly meetings, and job close-outs.
- Document change orders, schedule delays, and submit completion reports.
- Assist with coaching project engineers to support their professional growth.
Qualifications:
- Strong organizational, multi-tasking, and communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Ability to work independently, meet deadlines, and manage project outcomes.
Work Environment:
- Exposure to varied weather conditions and potential hazards on job sites.
- Physical requirements include standing, walking, climbing, and lifting up to 25 pounds.
EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or related field plus 4 years of experience, or 10 years of construction experience.
LENGTH OF ASSIGNMENT: Perm
START DATE: Asap (pending interviews)
PAY RATE: $90k-$120k/annually
HOURS: Monday-Friday, 7:30am-4:30pm
DRESS CODE: Business Casual
