Position Summary/Key Responsibilities for Software Engineer IV:
- Learn, engage, and assist in architecting and designing systems.
- Understand business requirements.
- Design and Code RESTful Microservices
- Write code in Node.JS backend and MongoDB
- Perform application builds.
- Perform unit and integration tests.
- Troubleshoot bugs in the application.
- Research new technologies.
Required Qualifications for Software Engineer III:
- Excellent programming skills in Node.JS backend and MongoDB.
- Good programming skills in .Net, C#, WCF, and Oracle.
- Understanding of Object Oriented Programming and related concepts.
- Experience with containers (Docker), container orchestration (using ECS) and Serverless Lambda Functions in AWS..
- Strong communication skills.
- Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.
- Experience in a fast-paced, agile setting.
- 10+ years of experience in software development in small to medium sized businesses, preferably in industries with high levels of transaction processing.
- 5+ years of experience in developing RESTful Microservices with Node.JS backend and MongoDB.
- 3+ years of experience in .Net, C#, WCF, and Oracle development
